The 3 rd Annual Vespers Service Celebration of the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Clergy Fellowship of Toronto and Vicinity Organized by the Steering Committee was hosted by Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, the parish pariest Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church.
We were blessed to have His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Sotirios and Archbishop Yurij Kalishchuk of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada among the guest clergies.
The Vespers Service took place on Tuesday October 6 th, 2009 at 7:00 pm. Following the prayers, His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Primate of the Armenian Church of Canada, addressed the clergy and faithful speaking about the brotherly relations between all Christian Orthodox churches, encouraging to create stronger ties within these churches and help the world to learn about the message of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Orthodox teachings. The young Acolytes of the church who just completed their training sessions with Dn. Ipekcian were happy to be part of this unique prayer evening as well.
A nice reception was served at the church’s “Magaros Artinian” Hall prepared by the members of Women’s Guild of the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. The clergy and parishioners enjoyed the gathering and watched a documentry movie about the History of Armenian Orthodox Church.
