On Sunday, July 11, 2021, a meeting was held between the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church Canadian Diocese, Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church and Levon and Peruz Babayan Foundation, with the participation of His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovagimian, Primate; Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar and Parish Pastor; Mr. Raffi Bedrosyan, Chair of the Parish Council; Mr. Bedros Chinchinian, Diocesan Council Member and the representatives of the Babayan Foundation, Ms. Knar Basmadjian, Mr. Shahan Deirmendjian and Mr. George Hagopian.
Following the wish of its founders, Levon and Peruz Babayan, since its establishment, the generous support of the Babayan Foundation has been crucial for the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church in order to continue providing spiritual care and religious service to the community, as well as empowering the schools and auxiliary bodies in educational, cultural and humanitarian areas working under the Church’s umbrella. The Church services have had a lasting impact on the daily lives of all community members, be they families with young children or seniors.
The meeting addressed the challenges and difficulties brought about by the 2020 pandemic. The participants reconfirmed their commitment to support the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, which is facing serious financial difficulties.
It is inspiring and motivational to witness the unwavering cooperation between the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church Canadian Diocese, the Holy Trinity Armenian Church and the Levon – Peruz Babayan Foundation, as they commit to continue working towards building a better future for the generations to come and for the community.
May the Lord continue to bless the Babayan Foundation’s board members for their devotion in serving faithfully in order to strengthen the Armenian Church, schools, heritage and culture.
May God continue to bless the departed souls of Levon and Peruz Babayan.
ՀԱՆԴԻՊՈՒՄ ՊԱՊԱՅԱՆ ՀԻՄՆԱԴՐԱՄԻ ԽՆԱՄԱԿԱԼ ՄԱՐՄՆԻ ՀԵՏ

Կիրակի, 11 Յուլիս 2021-ին ժողով մը տեղի ունեցաւ Գանատահայոց Առաջնորդարանի, Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք, Եկեղեցւոյ եւ Լեւոն եւ Փերուզ Պապայեան Հիմնադրամի միջեւ: Ներկայ էին Գանատահայոց Առաջնորդ` Գերշ. Տ. Աբգար Եպս. Յովակիմեան, Փոխ Առաջնորդ եւ Հոգեւոր Հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Ա. Քհնյ. Զարգարեան եւ Պրն. Րաֆֆի Պետրոսեան՝ Ատենապետ Ծխական Խորհուրդի, ինչպէս նաեւ ներկայացուցիչներ Լեւոն եւ Փերուզ Պապայեան Հիմնադրամի՝ Տիկ. Քնար Պասմաճեան, Պրն. Շահան Տէյիրմէնճեան եւ Պրն. Ճորճ Յակոբեան:
Ըստ հիմնադիրներ Լեւոն եւ Փերուզ Պապայեաններու փափաքին, Պապայեան Հիմնադրամի առատաձեռն ներդրումը նշանակալից եղած է Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ յարատեւութեան, համայնքի հոգեւոր եւ կրօնական կարիքներուն համար, ինչպէս նաեւ եկեղեցւոյ հովանիին ներքեւ գործող յարակից մարմիններու կրթական, մշակութային եւ մարդասիրական կարիքներուն:
Եկեղեցւոյ գործունեութիւնը մեծ ներդրում եւ հիմնական ազդեցութիւն ունեցած է համայնքի անդամներու կեանքին մէջ, ըլլան անոնք ընտանիքներ, երիտասարդներ եւ տարեցներ։
Ժողովի ընթացքին քննարկուեցան 2020 թագաժահրի յառաջացուցած մարտահրաւէրներն ու դժուարութիւնները: Ժողովականները իրենց անվերապահ զօրակցութիւնը յայտնեցին Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ, որ նիւթական լուրջ դժուարութիւններ ունի:
Ոգեւորիչ եւ յուսադրիչ է հաստատել անսակարկ համագործակցութիւնը Գանատահայոց Թեմի, Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցւոյ եւ Պապայան Հիմնադրամի միջեւ, որոնք անգամ մը եւս միասնակամ որոշեցին գործակցիլ, նոր սերունդին եւ համայնքին աւելի լաւ ապագայ մը ապահովելու համար:
Թող Ամենակալն Աստուած շարունակէ օրհնել Պապայեան Հիմնադրամի անդամները, որոնց նուիրուածութեան շնորհիւ ամուր կը մնայ Հայոց Եկեղեցին, հայ դպրոցն ու մշակոյթը:
Կը հայցենք Աստուծոյ լոյսն ու խաղաղաութիւնը Լեւոն եւ Փերուզ Պապայեաններու հոգիներու համար։
