Ontario Premier Honourable Doug Ford Attends Christmas Service at the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church of Toronto On January 6, 2025, the Christmas Mass was celebrated by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, the Vicar of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada and the Pastor of Holy Trinity Church.
Following the Liturgy, a Water Blessing Ceremony was held, with Mr. Hovig Moushian serving as the godfather of the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, Father Zareh expressed gratitude to Premier Ford for accepting his invitation to visit Holy Trinity Armenian Church. He specifically acknowledged the exemplary and dedicated work that the Premier and his esteemed accompanying guests, Hon. Vijay Thanigasalam, Associate Minister of Housing, and Hon. Aris Babikian, MPP for Scarborough–Agincourt, have been providing to the province of Ontario.
In appreciation and gratitude for their care and dedication to the residents of Ontario, particularly the Armenian community, Father Zareh presented Premier Ford with a beautifully crafted wooden cross made in Armenia, wishing that “the Holy Cross of the Lord may be a protector of our wonderful province of Ontario and the country of Canada.”
The Premier expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Father Zareh and the Church for the warm and wonderful welcome, emphasizing the significant role of the Armenian community within the province of Ontario. The visit of the esteemed guests was met with an atmosphere of unique enthusiasm and warm reception from the faithful present.

Յունուար 6-ին, Սբ. Ծննդեան Պատարագը մատոյց եւ յաւուր պատշաճի քարոզեց Գանատահայոց Թեմի Փոխառաջնորդ եւ Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ Հոգեւոր Հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Աւագ Քհնյ. Զարգարեան։ Յաւարտ Սբ. Պատարագին, տեղի ունեցաւ Ջրօրհնէքի Արարողութիւն, կնքահայրութեամբ՝ Տիար Յովիկ Մուշեանի: Արարողութեան աւարտին, Տէր Զարեհը շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց Օնթարիոյ նահանգի Վարպչապետ Տակ Ֆորտին, իր հրաւէրին ընդառաջ այցելելու Սբ. Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցի: Ան յատուկ կերպով անդրադարձաւ Վարչապետին եւ իրեն ընկերակցող յարգարժան հիւրերուն՝ Վիճէյ Տնաշիության Փոխնախարար՝ Թանիկասալէմին, Նահանգային Խորհրդարանի Պատգամաւոր Արիս Պապիկեանին, ինչպէս նաեւ ընկերակցող պետական պաշտօնեաներուն Օնթարիօ նահանգին մատուցած իրենց օրինակելի եւ նուիրեալ աշխատանքին համար։ Առ ի գնահատանք Վարպչապետ Տակ Ֆորտի Օնթարիօ նահանգի բնակիչներուն եւ յատկապէս հայ համայնքին ցուցաբերած իր հոգատարութեան, Տէր Զարեհ նուիրեց Հայաստան պատրաստուած գեղեցիկ փայտեայ Խաչ մը, մաղթելով, որ « Տիրոջ Սբ. Խաչը պահապան ըլլայ մեր հրաշալի նահանգին՝ Օնթարիոյին, եւ երկրին՝ Գանատային»։
Վարչապետը իր խորին շնորահակալութիւնը յայտնեց Տէր Հօր այս հրաշալի եւ ջերմ ընդունելութեան համար, շեշտելով հայ համայնքի ունեցած կարեւոր դերը Օնթարիօ նահանգէն ներս։ Յարգարժան հիւրերու այցելութիւնը արժանացաւ ներկայ հաւատացեալներու ջերմ ընդունելութեան եւ անցաւ բացառիկ խանդավառ մթնոլորտի մէջ։
