Since 2005, The Holy Trinity Armenian Church (HTAC) has hosted an annual golf tournament to support HTAC activities such as youth programs and repairs to the Church roof. This event, always held at a prestigious golf club in a beautiful setting, provides a great opportunity for good fellowship in the fresh air, having fun with new and old friends, while getting some physical activity and supporting our Church at the same time.
The Holy Trinity Armenian Church Golf Committee plans, prepares and participates in this annual fundraiser for the church. The members of the Committee solicit players, advertising for the “Golf Booklet,” items for the “goodie bags” and auction, and donors for the fundraiser. Volunteers are also needed on the actual day of the tournament to set up on site, greet golfers at the registration desk, sell tickets for raffles, as well as other tasks. Approximately $250,000 has been raised for the Church in the eight tournaments since 2005.
Even if you don’t golf, you can support this effort with contributions, donations of silent auction or “goodie bag” items, sponsorships, program advertisements, or by simply participating as a player. Our tournament is a scramble format which allows golfers of all skill levels to enjoy themselves as they contribute to an overall team score. This is the ideal opportunity for your first outing.

Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church will be hosting its Tenth Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the prestigious Silver Lakes Golf & Conference Centre on Sunday September 21st.
We cordially invite you to be part of this important event which benefits our Church.
There are many ways that you can get involved to help support this event. First, you can join us to play golf on this outstanding course which is more than simply a place to golf. Silver Lakes is rated as one of the top 10 courses in the GTA by Ontario Golf magazine, and is a four-star championship golf course carved from mature forest and rolling countryside around the meandering Holland River. Its manicured greens and bent-grass fairways are ideal for golfers of all levels. Our tournament is a scramble format which allows golfers of all skill levels to enjoy themselves as they contribute to an overall team score. Even if you have never golfed before, this is the ideal opportunity for your first outing.
Secondly, whether you choose to play or not, you can assist by being a sponsor or a donor. The contributions of sponsors are recognized by signage at the course, and by having their name, and/or the names of their businesses, highlighted in the tournament booklet. You can also help by donating – an item for the silent auction, something for the prize table, or a cash donation. Once again, all donors will be prominently recognized in tournament materials.

Everyone tees off at the same time in a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start.
The field is limited to a total of 144 golfers. So mark your calendar and register now to avoid disappointment.
