HTAC Press Office –
On Saturday, January 30, 2016, over 230 guests gathered at “Magaros Artinian” Hall for the Annual Volunteers’ Appreciation Dinner. This big family celebration of Committee and Auxiliary Body members was as always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Among the diverse guests one would recognize members who have been serving the Church for decades as well as younger generations and new members who have recently joined the HTAC family.
This beautiful tradition once again was organized and hosted by the Parish Priest, Fr. Zargarian and the Council’s Chair, Mr. Ohan Ohanessian and his devoted team: Bedros Chinchinian, John Satouri, Sella Kaltakjian, Vigen Allahyarian, Susanna Harutyunyan, Masis Esagholian, Houry Aznavourian, Arine Kemkemian and John Derohanessian. Throught the evening they went out of their way to be sure the guests felt welcomed and had a memorable time with friends.
By the invitation of the Master of Ceremony, Miss. Arine Kemkemian, The Primate of the Armenian Church, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, the Parish Priest, Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian and Mr. Ohan Ohanessian, each greeted the guests with a warm and welcoming speech, thanked the volunteers for their ongoing support and continuous active involvement, working united towards the prosperity of our beloved church.
A very special guest, Mr. Arthur Lee was invited and received recognition for his generous and heartfelt financial contribution to the Holy Trinity Armenian Church – Armenian Family Support Services’ Refugee Settlement Program. This gift was made in honour of Mr. Ohannes (John) Derohanesian for his devoted friendship and support.
The entertainment for the party was provided by Hrant Ketendjian with his skillful singing and Sassoun Dance Ensemble’s performance that kept the guests dancing and enjoying the party.
This annual event is a unique opportunity for everyone to enjoy a casual gathering and celebration of lasting friendships.
The Holy Trinity Armenian Church’s 30 auxiliary bodies work in great harmony under the leadership of Fr. Zargarian and the vibrant and devoted Parish Council promoting the Christian faith and the Armenian heritage and culture. The HTAC works hand in hand with the Armenian Family Support Services (AFSS) providing the community with numerous humanitarian services. The church family is always happy to welcome new members who are seeking opportunities to serve the Lord and give back to the community. More pictures…
