God is risen, and all his enemies are scattered – Book of Hours
God is risen, and all his enemies are scattered – Book of Hours
Dear faithful,
Today Resurrected Jesus addresses each one of us and says, « I am the resurrection and life. He who believes in me shall live, even though he dies. And he who is alive and believes in me, shall never die. Do you believe what I say?»
Let us join Martha and respond to our Lord, «Yes, Lord, I believe You are Christ, the Son of God, who was to come to earth.»
My dear faithful, filled with the love of and faith in the Resurrection, we address the parents who lost their children in the recent war in Artsakh, the widows, the orphaned children, the wounded and disabled soldiers, those affected by the pandemic and our faithful and say,
Christ has risen from the Dead
Therefore, gather up your strength and get united, my brave nation, in order to protect and defend your homeland and everything that is sacred. Remember that the cross is not only a symbol of death, but also victory. ‘Yeraplour’, that has become to symbolize Golgotha, is not the last stage of the thousands of our martyred soldiers, but the beginning of their new and eternal life.
On the Holy feast of Easter, I pray to our Resurrected Saviour, beseech Him and say, «Lord, bless and protect my people, keep our homeland Armenia and Artsakh in Your Divine peace, protect it under Your Holy Cross from wars and attacks of enemies, because You are our Saviour and hope, and all glory and honour be unto You, forever and ever, Amen.»
Praying for the health, wellbeing and success of each one of you, I remain prayerfully yours.
