As a result of the recent Diocesan elections, a number of defamatory false comments have been posted on the internet in social media and through a personal letter, insulting our Parish Priest and Holy Trinity Armenian Church.
The Parish Council has also unfortunately discovered an extremely disturbing anonymous letter has been mailed to our Parishioners. In this anonymous letter, our beloved Parish Priest, his family and another Parish Council member have been wrongfully and falsely accused and insulted in the most inhumane and indescribable manner. The Parish Council takes this as an insult to our Holy Trinity Armenian Church. We consider this letter and the above actions to be an evil and futile attempt to divide our Parish. It will not succeed.
We have committed ourselves to find those perpetrators responsible and whomever is responsible for supporting and encouraging them in mailing this anonymous letter.
We have started investigating to determine the source of this anonymous letter. The Parish Council assures our Parishioners that every step, including legal action, will be taken to bring to justice those responsible. We will be acting unanimously to the fullest extent of the law and we ask our Parishioners if they have any information about the identity of the person or persons responsible for the anonymous letter to please contact any member of the Parish Council.
Please pray for the peace and harmony of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church.
On behalf of Holy Trinity Armenian Church Parish Council,
Ohan Ohanessian
Chairman
