The Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Toronto celebrated the 87th anniversary of the establishment of the parish on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
The Divine Liturgy started with “HRASHAPAR”, a welcoming hymn by the participation of Deacons, Sub-Deacons and Choir Members of the Church led by Mr. Shahe Altounian.
His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada celebrated Divine Liturgy, assisted by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian.
The Choir members were blessed on the Church anniversary day by Bishop Hovakimian and Fr. Zargarian.
In his sermon, Bishop Hovakimian spoke of the mission of the Armenian Apostolic Church and in particular, the vision our community’s ancestors had in establishing this strong parish and the dedication and support of faithful members today under the leadership of Parish Priest, Fr. Zareh Zargarian.
Fr. Zargarian introduced Mr. Richard Berge Sevazlian, the newly appointed honourary Consul of the Republic of Armenia to Toronto, Ontario and invited him to be blessed by His Grace Bishop Hovakimian. See more photos…
